  • Ajit Jaokar, CEO, Futuretext
    Ajit Jaokar is the founder of the London based publishing and research company futuretext, focussed on emerging Web and Mobile technologies -including Web 2.0 and Mobile Web 2.0. His thinking is widely followed in the industry and his blog, the OpenGardensBlog (www.opengardensblog.futuretext.com), which was recently rated a top 20 wireless blog worldwide. In 2009-2010, Ajit was nominated as part of the Global Agenda Council on the Future of the Internet by the world economic forum.
    Ajit is best known for his books Mobile Web 2.0, Social Media Marketing. His consulting activities include working with companies to define value propositions across the device, network, Web and Social networking stack spanning both technology and strategy. Ajit lives in London, UK, but has three nationalities (British, Indian and New Zealander) and is proud of all three.
  • Carsten Frien, CEO & Co-Founder, madvertise

Before that he was responsible for Business Development in Germany (Munich), and later Europe (London), for Digital Rum, one of the leading mobile service providers.
  • Dr. Felix R. Graf, COO, Teleclub
    Teleclub LogoDr. Felix R. Graf is since Jan 2010 COO at Teleclub, the leading Swiss premium TV provider. Prior to that Felix was responsible for the Entertainment and multimedia business of Swisscom, the Swiss leading telecommunications & multimedia company. In this position, Felix successfully launched the first Swiss IP-TV service which he brought to mass market in the last year. Among his responsabilities further fell the largest Swiss internet portals for mobile and broadband. Prior to Swisscom Felix worked with McKinsey & Company out of Switzerland and the Netherlands. Felix holds a PhD cum laude in Physics from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and an MSc in Chemistry and Physics. Felix is since 2007 member of the Young Global Leaders of the World Economic Forum.
  • Marco Hauprich, Vice President of New Technologies, Deutsche Post
    Deutsche Post LogoBorn 1965 in Bonn, Germany. After receiving his degree in Industrial Design at the University of Wuppertal in Germany, Mr. Hauprich was the owner and managing director of the multimedia firm EigenArt, where he specialized in internet, CD-ROM and CAD. During his seven years as Senior Project Manager at Deutsche Telekom AG, he managed many innovative online applications that received renowned awards.
    Since October 2007, Mr. Hauprich has worked as the Vice President of New Technologies in the MAIL Marketing Business Department for Deutsche Post AG. Together with his team, he identifies new trends and technologies, reviews them for potential business opportunities and manages the resulting projects from inception to implementation. The focus is on generating new products and services in the digital age. Some of the products created include e.g. the Web-To-Print Solution “Titelhelden” (Title Characters) and “Handyporto,” a simple cell phone program for franking letters and postcards. Handyporto won the “German Industry Innovation Award,” the “Land of Ideas” award and the “World Mail Award.” Mr. Hauprich is responsible for the mobile Services of Deutsche Post Ag, Mail Department.
  • Jérôme Nadel, Executive Vice President – Marketing & User Experience, Sagem Wireless
    Sagem Wireless Logo In his role as EVP Marketing & User Experience at Sagem Wireless, Nadel is responsible for bringing innovative user-centric mobile devices and services to market. Beginning his career at the IBM Human Factors Lab and then in Unisys’ Corporate Human Factors Group, Nadel became Worldwide VP Marketing for a multi-national technology start-up, where he supported an aquisition by another international technology leader, Gemplus, ultimately serving as VP Marketing there. At Gemplus, his key mandate, and success, was driving technology partnerships and promoting usability of mobile data services. Coming back to his passion, Nadel joined Human Factors International as CXO, where he helped transform the firm’s core usability services into business-oriented user experience strategy and design.

  • Dr. Frank Prengel, Technical Evangelist Mobile, Microsoft
    Microsoft Logo Dr. Frank Prengel is Technical Evangelist for mobile & embedded technologies at Microsoft Germany. He studied physics in Wroclaw and Berlin, and joined Microsoft in 1998. Today he acts as a strategic advisor, community contact, and PR spokesperson for all technical aspects of Microsoft’s new mobile platform, Windows Phone 7.
  • Florian Resatsch, Co-Founder and CEO of friendticker
    FriendtickerDr. Florian Resatsch is Co-Founder and CEO of friendticker, a location-based customer loyalty and mobile marketing platform. Before founding friendticker, Florian Resatsch co-founded servtag GmbH, a mobile service company. He was also project leader at the Institute of Electronic Business (IEB) in Berlin. His clients included brands such as easyjet, Wall AG and others. Main areas of the projects were affiliate marketing, online marketing, SEO/SEM, mobile business, city advertising, and interactive street furniture.
    Furthermore he was researcher at the University of Arts Berlin in electronic business and intensively cooperated with the computer science department of the Technical University Munich in the area of mobile prototype development. Resatsch studied business administration at the University of Augsburg and worked for several major international companies in information technology departments. Florian holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the Technische Universitaet Muenchen.

  • Mark Schönfeld, Head of Service Delivery Management M2M, M2M Competence Center, Deutsche Telekom AG
    Deutsche Telekom Logo Mark Schönfeld is heading the Service Delivery department of the Machine-to-Machine Competence Center of Deutsche Telekom AG, since its foundation in the beginning of 2010. He is responsible for Service Delivery and Quality for the international M2M business of DTAG. He studied Automation Engineering and Medical Technology at the University of Wuppertal. Since 1995 he is working at Deutsche Telekom AG with a focus on strategy, quality and service. He lead several international projects and gained experience in the dedicated markets of DTAG in Austria, Slovakia and Germany. Personally he is in favor of M2M applications which focus on tracking and tracing in the consumer segment. Special use cases like ‘Bike Telematics’ and sports applications in general are raising his enthusiasm.

    Booz & Co Logo Gregor Vogelsang is a managing partner in the Munich office of Booz & Company. As a member of the world-wide Communications, Media & Technology Practice and leader of the European media practice he has specialized on top management consulting for international media companies. His major expertise lies in strategy development, organisational transformation and functional areas like advertising sales and marketing.
    Gregor appears regularly on international conferences and discussion panels (DLD, VDZ, etc.) and is a co-author of numerous studies, articles and books on key trends of in the media industry as well as on topics of organizational development.
    Gregor holds an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau and received a Diploma in Business Studies from London School of Economics as well as a Diploma in Journalism which was jointly awarded by Deutsche Journalistenschule and University of Munich.

    Dr. Charles M. Savage ist renommierter Professor, Autor und Geschäftsführer Knowledge Era Enterprising International. Dr. Savage berät Unternehmen im Bereich Wissens- und Innovationsmanagement. Er ist Gründer und Mitglied der Arabian Knowledge Economy Association (AKEA) initiert von Prof. Salim Al-Hassani. Als Dozent ist er an Universitäten in Indien und Australien tätig. Sein Buch “The Fifth Generation Management” wurde in zahlreiche Sprachen, u.a. Japanisch und Koreanisch, übersetzt. Im Moment arbeitet er an seinem neuen Buch “Co-Creating – the (Ac)Knowledging Economy”.
